PD (2) 1 Heap, Greenfield & Plamer’s Karcasam Daniel Steele, smart & handsome puppy, grand head with well set ears that are of a good size, nice eye, good body & strong, well angulated hindquarters. A shade tense on the table but he relaxed on the ground & stands & moves well; 2 Cox’s Kivox Kapers, decent skull, nice eyes & good mouth. Not quite the neck & shoulders of 1 but well bodied, pleasing to handle & moves well.

CRUFTS 2009 OD (18,3) I was disappointed to see a number of poor mouths, dirty teeth & young dogs loosing their teeth at an early age. 1 Heap, Greenfield & Palmer’s Karcasam Daniel Steele, very typy fawn with all the essentials, beautiful sculpted head & expression, true apple dome & large flaring ears, excellent conformation & balance, moving soundly, very smart in outline with good reach of neck & good tail carriage, lovely size & weight of bone. CC; 2 Cooke’s Dashwoodhoe Ravishin Ralph, very gassy dog who really scored in outline & presence, very sound, swift moving with brisk, forceful hind action, well balanced throughout, good head with nice height of dome & length of muzzle. However preferred the overall head type & expression of 1. RCC; 3 Parker & Bowen-Parker’s Parkbow The Devils Own, very smart, well constructed dog, one of the soundest movers of the day, really striding out with driving backend & good straight front. Lovely type & carriage but just preferred the refinement of the winners.

PD (2) 1 Milnes’ Davannchi Dandini, 11 months sh/s, super puppy, fabulous coat for age, sound in body & movement with that sparkle I love. One to watch. BP & PG4; 2 Heap & Palmer’s Karkasam Bumble, 6 month tri, fabulously coated pup, showed well for age. JD (3,1a) 1 Adams’ Hollyels Diamond Geeza, nice red, typical Chi head, confident mover with tail & ears up at all times, good mouth & reach of neck, large dark eye, smart showman. Pushed hard in the challenge. RBD; 2 Heap & Palmer’s Maciendas Maximus, tri, good honest boy, good movement. Not happy with all the noise & would not lift his tail. PGD (3,1) 1 Ward’s Sandpony Golden Boy, sound masculine red, typical head & expression, nice balanced outline, level topline both standing & moving; 2 York’s Minfaa Captain Cash at Middletune, good outline & reach of neck. Preferred size & front of 1. OD (3,1) 1 Heap, Greenfield & Palmer’s Karcasam Daniel Steele, typical head & expression, large dark eye & pigment, lovely coat & fringing, moved soundly with style, quality shining through. BD & BOB; 2 Fathers’ Teaco Blizzard at Okajem, nice cream, sound confident movement, good tailset & level topline. Just preferred head of 1.

OD (10,3) 1 Parker & Bowen-Parker’s Parkbow The Devils Own, red, very much on his toes & a great little showman. Good enough head, stylish mover. Coat rather standoff but appeals in outline & general shape; 2 Heap, Greenfield & Palmer’s Karcasam Daniel Steele, good headed f/w, not as true in front as 1 & not as outgoing; 3 Hargreaves’ Ch Tampico Solo.

PD (1) l Heap, Greenfield & Palmer’s Karcasam Daniel Steele, super little fawn, correct head, excellent ear placement, nicely shaped eyes, good stop, clean & correct dentition, nicely conformed body on sound legs, giving good movement & correct stance. Earned a well deserved BP.
